The stiffest boots in the super popular Shift Pro lineup, the Salomon Shift Pro 130 Alpine Touring Ski Boots are capable of raging like a mad bull on the descent and still touring uphill with dignity, a combination you don't find every day. The 100mm fit is fairly generous and can be made to fit most average or slightly wider feet with a simple Custom Shell HD heat mold, and the unique Surelock walk mode mechanism is hidden under your pant cuffs so there's no fuss and less chance of a mishap. Product Details
Fit
Last: 100 mm – A medium last for feet of average width and volume. Can be heat molded using the custom heat molding process to approximately 106mm in the forefoot.
Custom Shell HD – Salomon's proven heat molding process makes boot fitting most feet quick and easy - the latest Custom Shell HD version is even quicker to mold than before. The thinner wall construction and new shell materials allow the foot to be closer to the shell and provide enhanced sensations, more power and direction energy transmission.
Flex
Flex: 130 – A very stiff flex suitable for expert level skiers.

Core-Frame Construction – A thinner walled Sensitive Shell is reinforced by the Core-Frame element that runs under the midfoot from maleolus to maleolus and stiffens the shell where you drive the ski with a minimum of added weight. Surelock Ski Walk Mechanism – Bomber and low profile walk lever is positioned at the same level as the upper buckle to promote quicker transitions.

4 Micro-Adjustable Aluminum 3D Buckles – Choose from 3 different positions of the instep buckle for optimum in-step comfort, full customization and personalized foot hold.
2 Hiking Hooks – 2 additional hooks placed on both cuff's buckles expand the range of motion and mobility of the boot when it’s in hike mode, improving your comfort when heading up towards a peak.
Power Strap
45mm Sense Claw Power Strap – Two positions for customized fit and sensation. The unhooked position allows you to reach the right level of progressiveness and rebound, while the hooked position ensures maximum stiffness and performance.
Sole
GripWalk ISO 23223 Outsoles – Removable and interchangeable rockered soles designed to work with GripWalk binding systems for better grip and comfort while walking, standing, and hiking.
Integrated Tech Inserts – Low-tech inserts are integrated into the shell, making it complementary to touring bindings, so you can experience reliability and direct power transmission when skinning up.
Midgrip Sole – A Contagrip® piece between the toe and heel and GripWalk pads improve the boot's grip in difficult terrain such as a rocky summits, ice and other uneven surfaces.
