Don't let the name fool you. The Ride Moderator Snowboard has no interest in moderating anything. Extra camber cranks up the snap and response, Slim Walls keep it light and lively, and Linear Carbon Laminates make sure the ollie is always loaded and ready. A Linear Quadratic Sidecut keeps turn initiation catch-free and exits powerful, while a Sintered 4000 base stays fast all day. This ride is moderate in name only.

Shape:
Directional: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.
Core:
Performance™ Light Core: Specially formulated for the women’s line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.
Laminates:
Linear Carbon 5: Stiffens the board from the tip to tail with lightweight carbon strands.
Carbon Array™ 3: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Hybrid Glass: Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.
Single Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.
Sidewalls:
Linear Quadratic Sidecut: A directional sidecut utilizing Quadratic curvature from the tip to the rear insert pack, then progressing into a linear section into the tail. This creates smooth catch-free turn initiation and powerful support through the turn exit without losing grip.
Slim Walls: RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight construction, and even better damping.
Base:
Sintered Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
Stone Ground Base: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
Topsheet:
Standard: Durable Urethane topsheet material with graphics only RIDE can bring you.
Additional Features:
Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable.
