BACKLAND FR SQS POLES

Developed with Chris Benchetler, the Backland FR SQS combines a telescopic freeride shaft with an ergonomic EVA grip and Atomic’s Safety Quick Release System. SQS allows the strap to release when placed under tension. The soft, flexible grip and pre-shaped padded Pro strap provide a comfortable hold during longer mountain days. A Power Lock mechanism secures length adjustments, while the high-strength 7075 aluminium shaft supports a lightweight setup. Powder baskets help in soft snow, carbide tips provide purchase on harder surfaces, and an integrated binding screwdriver keeps a useful adjustment tool close at hand.
