The Salomon Depart 1.0 Skis have been developed to meet the needs of "post-park" skiing, but Salomon could also point to the primordial PRE-park ooze when you had to make your own fun on whatever natural features you could find. Generous rocker and a karuba / poplar wood core with lightweight basalt fibers provide energy and pop, while a snappy 15m turn radius puts you firmly in control when it's time to get weird.
