The 2026 Salomon Highpath was built to be the pinnacle in both all mountain performance and sustainable construction. Constructed with eco-friendly materials like a bio-based topsheet and resin, a FSC certified core and 50% recycled base material and edges, the Highpath offers high performance while still being sustainable. The Rock Out Camber and stiff flex contribute to one of the most stable rides you can get, and the Popster core is responsive and super responsive at high speeds. The tapered directional shape will get you powering out of your carves and gives a more natural float in powder, providing you with some of the most advanced all mountain performance in any snowboard on the market.

Board Type: All Mountain

All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.

Flex: 8/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Stiff snowboards are precise, responsive, and built for advanced riders tackling high speeds, steep terrain, or icy conditions. They deliver powerful turns, excellent edge hold, and enhanced stability, especially during aggressive riding.

Ability Level: Advanced

Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.

Shape: Tapered Directional

A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.

Camber Type: Rock Out Camber

Flat between the bindings provides stability, camber near the feet adds response, and rocker at the tip and tail enhances pressability.

Sidecut: Quadratic Sidecut

A mix of elliptic curves enables smooth turn initiation, seamless direction changes, and fluid edge-to-edge transitions.

Width: Standard, Wide

Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.

Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments.

Board Construction

Topsheet: ABC Wrapper Topsheet

By using wood veneer rather than plastic you get a more damp topsheet that reduces weight thanks to having less fiberglass in the board.

Laminate: BA MD Fiberglass, B/FX Basalt, Popster, 30% Bio-Based Resin

BA MD medium density fiberglass is used to create a light and lively board.

B/FX Basalt is a combination of fiberglass and Basalt that offers a weight:power:dampening ratio that is optimal for riding all over the mountain.

Popster mills the core inside of the inserts, allowing the board to flex more naturally and energy is transferred to the nose and tail more efficiently for extra pop.

This bio-based resin is made 30% of plant material, offering a high performance resin with a low environmental impact.

Core: Aspen SLCT Core

By using hand selected Aspen wood strips, this core is of the highest quality offering next level lightness.

Sidewall: 66% Recycled ABS Sidewalls

A recycled ABS sidewall uses post-consumer or industrial plastic for durability and impact resistance while reducing environmental impact. It strengthens the board's edges, absorbs vibrations, and enhances stability without compromising performance.

Edges: All Mountain Edge Bevel

A 1.5 degree base and side edge bevel offers superior edge hold.

Base: 50% Recycled Sintered Base

A high-quality sintered base material made of 50% recycled materials, offering a balanced combination of speed from a hard surface and good wax retention.
