We wanted a boot that could keep up with the demands of modern snowboarding. Something packed with tech, loaded with performance, and clean enough to look good doing it.  

So, we built just that.

The K2 Theory introduces our all-new F.O.R.M. (“Fit Optimization for Ride and Mobility”) Wrap Solution, an innovative three-panel design developed in collaboration with BOA® that wraps seamlessly from the medial to lateral side of your foot for a true custom fit. Powered by BOA® Fit System PerformFit™ Wrap featuring dual H5 dials, the upper shell tightens and actively draws your heel into the pocket, maximizing response while eliminating heel lift.  

By reducing pressure points and stress on your feet, F.O.R.M allows you to ride more locked in for longer – letting you maximize your time riding and making every turn feel in control.   

Inside, the Intuition™ Control Foam 3D Wrap Liner brings a heat-moldable, dual-density foam that shapes perfectly for a fit that’s dialed, warm, and supremely comfortable. Add in the 3-Point Internal Harness, and you’ve got a locked-in feel that moves with you from first chair to final lap. 

Responsive and powerful when you're charging but forgiving enough to stay playful, the Vibram® V5 Outsole with Harshmellow™ damping eats up impact, grips icy boot packs, and keeps things feeling smooth. A reinforced rubber toe cap rounds things out for added durability and wet-weather defense. 

Liner

S’Cafe™ Coffee Mesh

A post-consumer recycled coffee ground mesh liner layer that controls odor and absorbs moisture.

Internal & External J-Bars

Adding J-Bars to a liner helps add structure and reduce heel lift.

3-Point Harness Liner Lacing

A traditional liner harness with a pull lace and three contact points hugs the ankle to provide additional support and unrivaled stability to help reduce fatigue.

Heat moldable medium and high-density Intuition® foam forms to the exact shape of your leg, ankle, and foot for superior fit, warmth, and comfort.

Articulating Upper Cuff - Independent upper cuff articulation delivers a distortion-free flex.

Endo™ 3.0 Heel Counter

A K2 Snowboarding exclusive, Endo™ Construction allows us to alter the flex, response, and rebound of a snowboard boot without adding extra materials (extra materials = extra weight). By replacing additional materials with an injected heel-counter, adding extra rebound is as easy as a formula change and helps us to provide a more consistent flexing, longer-lasting snowboard boot.

Reinforced Rubber Toe

Abrasion-resistant reinforced rubber is placed in areas of high stress to extend the boot's life and increase durability.

Lacing

TX3 BOA® Rope Lacing

A softer lace explicitly made for snowboard boots that provides a more even fit over the body of the boot shell versus a steel lace.

H5 Coiler Zonal BOA® Fit System

Impact resistant, durable, and performance-driven, the H5 BOA® Dial ejects on severe impact and is easily re-inserted into the boot. One dial controls the upper shell lacing, and the other maintains the lower shell lacing.

Vibram® V5 Outsole with EcoHarshmellow™

Vibram® V5 Outsole features a full EcoStep rubber (30% regrind) with and Harshmallow™ pods under the toe and heel to reduce noise underfoot. The V5 Outsole is the perfect combination of sustainability and performance.
