Core
Karuba / Poplar Full Woodcore – A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations. Karuba is one of the lightest woods available for ski construction.
Laminates
Twinframe² Construction – Metal Twinframe technology pairs a double Titanal laminate with C/FX to create a damp, hard charging ski that inspires confidence regardless of speed, terrain or conditions.
Double Ti – Two layers of titanal (a strong aluminum alloy) are added to the ski’s construction—one layer above and one below the wood core. This adds serious power, stability, and edge grip, especially at speed or in variable snow. It also dampens vibrations for a smoother, more controlled ride, and gives the ski a strong, precise feel that’s great for charging hard on groomers or through chop.
Sidewalls
Full Sandwich Sidewalls – A laminate construction with full length ABS sidewalls gives extraordinary smooth ski/snow contact and great terrain adaptation. Laminated construction enables Salomon to combine optimum material layers for targeted performance.
