The Ride Psychocandy Snowboard is sweeter than it looks and more unhinged than you'd expect. Based off of the Warpig, the volume-shifted directional shape allows you to size down without sacrificing stability. Zero Camber keeps things playful, while Carbon Slimewalls® and Carbon Array™ 3 add the snap to turn every side hit into an opportunity. A little sugar, a little chaos, and enough all-mountain versatility to satisfy every craving.

Tapered Directional: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.

Volume Shift™:: Designed to be ridden 3-6cm shorter than your standard board.

Core:

Performance™ Light Core: Specially formulated for the women’s line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.

Bio-Resin Core: Ride's plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, Ride is able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Win-win for everyone.

Laminates:

Double Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.

Carbon Array™ 3: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.

Roll-In Construction: Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.

Carbon Infused Glass: 90° Carbon fibers stitched into the glass. Extra pop and response, without adding extra stiffness.

Sidewalls:

Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut: A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.

Carbon Slimewalls®: RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Base:

Sintered Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.

Stone Ground Base: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.

Topsheet:

Standard: Durable Urethane topsheet material with graphics only RIDE can bring you.

Additional Features:

Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable.
