EXCAVATOR SNOWBOARD

Built for deep carves and powder turns, the Excavator combines a broad platform with a compact length. Its 20 mm taper and directional camber support float and a powerful finish to the turn. Volume Shift redistributes surface area toward the waist, allowing a shorter board while helping reduce toe and heel drag.

Sizing approach: K2 recommends choosing approximately 5 cm shorter than your usual board.

Core: S1 bamboo, aspen and paulownia core balances damping, rebound and reduced swing weight.

Base and topsheet: Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 base with stone finish; Snophobic topsheet.

Fiberglass: ICG 10 biax glass integrates carbon for liveliness without excessive rigidity.

Additional construction: Carbon Power Fork in the tail adds rebound; Hybritech construction reduces weight at the extremities.
